Journal publication is considered as one of the cornerstones in the world of academia. It provides, both contributors and readers alike, a great platform to nurture their academic growth. Journals offer a wide range of scholarly articles that can enrich the readers with useful current knowledge on a specific topic. They widen the scholarly horizon and create a zeal for embarking on further study and contribution, In this context, Majallatul-Jamia UK (the Journal of the Institute of Theology and Modern Languages) holds a significant place in Ahmadiyya academia. By the Grace of Allah, the Most Knowing, it is being regularly published since 2010. Over the period, this publication has established its roots well in terms of its continuity, content, designing and multilingual approach under continuous guidance and direction of Principal Sahib, Jamia Ahmadiyya UK, Al-Hamdulillah.
Continuing with its previous format this year’s Majallah is also divided in three sections i.e. English, Arabic and Urdu. A total of 12 articles are being published in its English section on a wide range of interesting topics. The article entitled ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ is now a well-awaited presentation of Majallah that is based on the English version of an Urdu article ‘Pur Hikmat Nasaih’ – noble advices given by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) to the students of the Jamia UK.
This year, the editorship of Majallah was given to Aleem Zia Sahib, by Principal Sahib, who worked tirelessly with his entire team to ensure its timely preparation with enhanced level of designing and presentation. Finally, I would like to thank all article-writers and the entire Majallah team for their great productive work and assistance as required and expected of them. May Allah, the Exalted, bless them all abundantly, Aamin. My gratitude certainly will remain incomplete if I do not express my humble feelings of thankfulness and Hamd for Allah, Lord of the Universe, Who enabled all of us to complete this noble task.
