An attempt at evaluating the spiritually-filled life of one of these ‘gold-like’ companions named Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Rasool Qudsi Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" will be made here.
An attempt at evaluating the spiritually-filled life of one of these ‘gold-like’ companions named Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Rasool Qudsi Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" will be made here.

The time of a Prophet is truly miraculous. It is a time when people who have been treading on the wrong path for decades are finally shown a light and path in the direction of God. As well as guiding the misguided, a Prophet has the power to take people who believe in him to the stars. These then, in turn, possess the power to guide millions through the power and light reflected onto them by that man who is sent by God. This is why the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" said:

أصحابي كالنجوم بأيهم اقتديتم اهتديتم

(Jâmi Bayân al-Ilm wa Fadlih (2/925 –
1760) and Ibn Hazm in al-Ihkâm (6/82))

The same is the case with the companions of the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him". In one of his Arabic poems, he writes:

ََصادفْتھمْ قوْمََا کروْثِِ ذلّة

فجعلْتھمْ کسبیکة الْعقْیان

You found them dirty like a heap of dung;
And you transformed them into a piece of pure gold.

Verse 21 of the ‘Qaseedah’ by The Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him"

An attempt at evaluating the spiritually-filled life of one of these ‘gold-like’ companions named Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Rasool Qudsi Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" will be made here. His life was full of faith-inspiring incidents and events which may even be unimaginable for some living in current times. He was an icon of obedience for the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and his Khulafa. He always attributed his spiritual progression and enhancement to the blessings of being able to see the time of the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and has never thought this to be any of his own personal qualities. He was blessed with the opportunity of seeing Allah Almighty in 8-9 different manifestations. Some examples will be presented later on. He was given the title ‘The Sun of the Enlightened’ in a register in heaven. (Hayat e Qudsi Part 3 page 213 compile version Urdu)

This event is of a time when Maulana Sahib went to Lyallpur (Faisalabad) where he met Chaudhry Abdul Ahad Sahib, Professor of the Agriculture College. He told Maulvi Sahib about a dream in which he was in a room in heaven where there was a big register containing names and pictures of companions with different titles written next to each. Next to the name and picture of Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", the title ‘The Sun of the Enlightened’ was written. It was the humility of Maulvi Sahib that he said,

“I know my worth and status. If someone is actually worthy of this title in the present age, then it is Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Masih II”

Hayat e Qudsi Part 3 page 213 compile version urdu

Maulvi Sahib was a scholar in the languages of Urdu, Arabic and Persian. He challenged people to debates in Arabic but no one could compete with him. He did not keep any books except the Qur’an. He would use only this to prove his arguments and truly show the world that all knowledge is encompassed within the Qur’an. With his religious knowledge, he was also taught science and the knowledge of medicine by the first Khalifa. Despite initially showing little interest and wanting to only learn religious knowledge, by paying attention, he soon developed a keen interest and obtained mastery in this field too. Another distinct event which happened in Maulvi Sahib’s lifetime was that, to his knowledge, he had the honour of presenting the last companion in the service of Hazrat Masih Maud asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" for Bai’at just before his demise. The name of this companion was Chaudhry Jehan Khan Sahib who accepted the Bai’at in Lahore at the hand of Huzoor asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" two days before his demise. (Hayat e Qudsi Part 3 page 227 compile version Urdu)

An example of an Arabic debate is also worth mentioning here. In 1912, during the time of Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Masih I raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", Maulana Rajeki Sahib along with Khwaja Kamal Uddin Sahib set off to attend a convention in Agra. An instruction from Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Masih I came ordering Rajeki Sahib to go to Dehli to take part in a debate in Monghyr with Mir Qasim Ali Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", Hazrat Alama Maulana Syed Sarwar Shah Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" and Hafiz Roshan Ali Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". 150 non-Ahmadi ‘scholars’ had gathered there.

The conditions of the debate were set by the opponents who said that the Ahmadis should write their views in Arabic on the death of Jesus asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" on a piece of paper along with its translation. Thereafter, the non-Ahmadis should write their reply. After the conditions were finalised, the Ahmadis needed to appoint a debater to face the opposition. Due to his weak eyesight, Hafiz Roshan Ali Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" couldn’t do any written work; Hazrat Mir Qasim Ali Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was only literate in Urdu and at most Persian. Thus, he was unable to debate in Arabic and Hazrat Maulana Sarwar Shah Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was no doubt a scholar in Arabic but he did not have the experience or practice of writing essays or part-taking in debates. Thus Maulana Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was chosen to represent the Ahmadis.

When Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" started writing, he felt a spiritual manifestation of the Holy Spirit inside him and strength was given to him by Allah the Exalted. Despite his voice being on the tamer and quieter side due to his humility, he acquired such heavenly support that his voice could easily be heard by everyone in the crowd when presenting his case. His voice has even been referred to as the voice of David asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him". After reading a fraction of the paper, the non-Ahmadis started creating disorder and disturbance. During this time 8 or 9 members of the youth got up and started advancing towards Rajeki Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" table. They said that the truth has been unveiled to them and they wish to convert to Ahmadiyyat.

Maulvi Abdul Wahab Sahib (professor of Arabic at Calcutta college), who was a skilled teacher in the Arabic language was appointed by the non-Ahmadis. They were all told that the Ahmadis are from a country which is completely foreign to the Arabic language and will not be able to compete in this debate. After hearing Rajeki Sahib’s arguments, Wahab Sahib was left completely stunned and astonished. He did not have the courage to come forward and the Ahmadis were granted a deserved victory.

Early Life and Childhood

After a brief outline of some of the distinct qualities Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" had, an attempt will be made at presenting key events in his life with some chronology. Maulana Ghulam Rasool Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was born in a village called Rajeki and was from a distinguished tribe known as the “Warraich” tribe. His father was Mian Karamuddin Sahib and his mother’s name was Amina Bibi. He was born in either 1877 or 1879, and upon birth, his elder brother (Mian Taj Mahmood Sahib) insisted on his name being Ghulam Rasool. This served as a prophecy for the rest of Maulana Sahib’s life. Prior to his birth, his mother saw a dream in which a lamp was illuminating every corner of their house. A timely event worth mentioning here is that once Maulana Sahib was part of a delegation to Brahmanbaria with Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Masih I raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". Maulana Sahib felt severely ill due to the unsuitability of the atmosphere and the change of food, thus he had to go to the village of his in-laws (Pirkot) for treatment. His wife prayed profusely for his recovery, and was thus given the following glad tiding:

‘‘Maulvi Sahib is a lamp (Diya). If this lamp is extinguished, Allah the Exalted should suffice thee.” Upon this, she begged Allah the Exalted saying, ‘Holiness! Have mercy on our situation and let this lamp keep burning and may You Yourself also be sufficient for us.’

Therefore, in response to this, she was given glad tidings from Allah the Exalted that Maulvi Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" would not die until he had fathered ten children. According to these divine glad tidings, ten children were born to them and thereafter no other child was born. Allah Almighty had called Maulvi Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" a lamp in two different scenarios to two different people. This just goes to show that he really was ‘The Sun of the Enlightened’ and his being was a source of light for people who had the honour of meeting him. (Hayat e Qudsi Part 3 page 201 compile version Urdu)

The Occasion of Maulana Sahib’s Bai’at

One of Maulana Ghulam Rasool Sahib Rajeki’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" teachers was Maulvi Imamuddin Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". The incident of Maulvi Rajeki Sahib’s bai’at heavily involves him. One day they were both discussing a point of knowledge in the mosque when a police constable entered the mosque to offer his prayers. Maulvi Imamuddin Sahib asked to see the book which he had wrapped within the folds of his turban, however, the constable refused. He replied, “this book is by an honourable personage who is my leader. It is well-nigh possible that after reading it you may use abusive language and this is something which my sense of honour will not be able to tolerate.’ Maulvi Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" responded, ‘You need not worry. My tongue will not utter a single bad word regarding your leader.”

After this reassurance, he let Maulvi Imamuddin Sahib keep the book for the next four days. During this time, Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" visited the house of his respected teacher where his eyes caught sight of this literary masterpiece titled ‘Aina-Kamalat-e-Islam’, written by our [future] holy master the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him". Whilst reading this book, a yearning with burning passion arose inside Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", and tears uncontrollably started flowing down his face. As he read the content matter of the book along with the divine poetry inculcating the love of this man to the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him", he was compelled to say,

“There was probably not a single man in the whole world that equalled him, in his immense love of the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him".”

Those who are chosen by God truly do not require any signs. When the truth is portrayed in front of them, their hearts recognise it and accept it. This one book was enough for Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". He understood the true teachings of Islam with respect to the death of Jesus asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and the finality of prophethood. In roughly September or October 1897, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" wrote a letter professing his allegiance to the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him". At that moment his teacher Imamuddin Sahib did feel that this decision was one taken in haste and further research and assurance could have been made, but Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was completely sure. Nothing was going to change his mind now. By the Grace of Allah, in 1899, Maulvi Imamuddin Sahib went with Rajeki Sahib to Qadian to pledge his allegiance.

A very strange incident took place there. When Maulvi Imamuddin Sahib had climbed the staircase and was bestowed the honour of a handshake, Huzoor asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" said: ‘Call that boy who was following you.’ Thereupon, Maulvi Sahib hurried back and told Rajeki Sahib that Huzoor asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" is asking about you. This was truly a miraculous event. Huzoor asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" had neither seen Rajeki Sahib nor asked Imamuddin Sahib about him, yet he still instructed this. This was one of the first of many signs Rajeki Sahib saw in his life about the existence of God and his true servants.

Living according to the Commandments of the Holy Qur’an

God Almighty states in the Holy Qur’an:

‘Thy Lord has commanded, “Worship none but Him, and show kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, never say unto them any word expressive of disgust nor reproach them, but address them with excellent speech.’

The Holy Quran (17:24)

In this verse, Muslims are taught the two most rewarding good deeds they can carry out. The first is worshipping none but Allah, and the second is showing kindness to your parents. As mentioned before, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was a scholar in Arabic and made all his arguments using the Qur’an. He was well aware of these teachings. His obedience to the first teaching is shown by the following event.

This incident occurred in the village of Sa’dullahpur when Maulvi Sahib encountered some members of the Malamti sect. They said that the true and obligatory prayers are of the heart, otherwise, even a hypocrite can offer prayers for show. When refuting this, Maulvi Sahib gave a concrete example of the depth of his knowledge as well as his love for prayers and worshipping Allah the Almighty. Maulvi Sahib stated that if by prayer this sect thinks that no physical action is needed then this is not proven by the Shari’ah. The Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" has necessitated the observance of physical actions through the demonstration of his excellent example. Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" then presents a myriad of examples from the Qur’an and Ahadith [sayings of the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him"] outlining the importance of prayer. He says that according to the Qur’an when people of Heaven will ask those in Hell what their reason for being in Hell is, the first offence they will concede is that:

لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ

‘We did not perform our prayers with full attention in the manner that was prescribed.’

The Holy Quran (74:44)

This shows that prayer does not only relate to the heart. It also involves physical actions.

Aside from this Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" presented the Hadith:

منْ ترك الصّلاۃ متعمّدََا فقدْ کفر

Meaning, ‘He who intentionally misses prayer has committed disbelief.’

In another place the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" says:

الفرْق بیْن العبْد المؤْمن والْکافر ترك الصّلاۃ

Which means that the distinction between a believer and a disbeliever is drawn by the missing prayers. These examples very clearly highlight the standard of knowledge Maulana Sahib had at his disposal that he was able to very easily make such a convincing argument for his claim. We can also see that he understood, better than most, the importance of worshipping Allah and offering your prayer. Where the soul of man is affected by his physical activities; his body is also compelled to feel the effects of the spiritual activities. (Hayat e Qudsi Part 2 page 111 compile version Urdu)

The second example is of his obedience to his parents under the second most rewarding teaching of the Qur’an. This event was from the earlier stages of Rajeki Sahib’s life when his younger brother, Mian FazleIlahi ran away without asking his parents. Maulana Rajeki Sahib – who was also young at the time– was instructed by his parents to find him. Maulvi Sahib reached all the way to Dehli by foot where he saw his brother passing on a horse, entering someone’s house. Maulvi Sahib entered the house which belonged to a very influential person in that region and enquired about his brother. He responded in the affirmative and said that this boy has said that his whole family had died. When Fazl-e-Ilahi was brought in front of Maulana Sahib, the whole truth was revealed. The master told Rajeki Sahib to return to his parents and inform them that he considered Fazl-e-Ilahi to be his son and would give him an education here. Although this answer was satisfactory to leave the brother with the master, Rajeki Sahib remembered the sadness his parents felt at the action of his brother who left without informing anyone which is why he suggested the master send his brother to see his parents and then he can return to the master to continue his education. This incident although brief outlines how he always put his parents first and how considerate he was of their feelings.

Physical and Mental Strength

At the age of roughly 21, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" possessed extraordinary physical strength. He could make four people sit on either end of a pole and lift the pole with just one hand. Similarly, due to the effects of reclusion and meditation, he could easily run whilst holding two people under his arms. He was skilled at horse galloping, jumping, running and climbing on the tallest of walls. He could do heavy club swinging equivalent to two and a half Munn (one munn is equivalent to roughly 40kg). He was an expert in the game of wrist grabbing. He would often challenge opponents to physical competitions as well as debates but no one could defeat him.

Along with physical strength, his mental resolve knew no bounds. On one occasion, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" went into his local area to preach, when a young girl asked if he would marry a girl like her. The first response Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" gave was that he is an Ahmadi, to which she said ‘consider me an Ahmadi too.’ Then Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" told her that in Islam, marriage is forbidden without a guardian. Upon this, the young girl started crying profoundly and said ‘Pray that Allah the Exalted makes my family approve of the marriage.’ Sometime later, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was reminded of this girl when he heard the poem of Syed Waris Shah Sahib for which the English is:

“Is it because of your remembrance of the neighbours of Dhi-salam. That tears mixed with blood are flowing (from your eyes) what has happened to your eyes, (the more) you tell them to stop, the more they continue flowing. What is the matter with your heart, (the more) you tell it to come to its senses, and (the more it is distracted).”

Hayat e Qudsi Part 2 page 75 compile version urdu

The face of the same girl came into his mind and he started feeling sympathy and a connection of love with her. The thoughts were not able to get very far when at night Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" in a dream and he asked him Who is it that resides in your heart besides Allah? The moment Huzoor asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" said this, the same girl emerged in front of Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" in a revolting and loathsome manner and he built hate for her from that moment. His heart and mind became completely clean and pure and he was able to comprehend that all love is false except the love for Allah.

Marriage

The build-up to the marriage of Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" is like no other. Three or four marriage proposals came for him, but due to prayer, Allah Almighty showed signs that this is not the best decision. Chaudhry Sakandar Khan Sahib from the Rai tribe asked what Maulana Sahib thought about a young girl passing by. Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" immediately scolded him for speaking about girls in this manner. Chaudhry Sahib explained, ‘She is my daughter and I wish her to marry you.’ Upon this, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" requested some time to do ‘Istikhara’ (seeking goodness from Allah). One night, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw an angel in a dream wearing an Arab garment saying, ‘Do not marry this girl because she is not a blessing for you.’ In the dream Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" asked if he fell in prostration for her, would she still not be a blessing, however, the angel remained quiet. Coincidently, within 6 months, Chaudhry Sahib died and the mother of the girl married her to a non-Ahmadi landlord. She bore two children and both died in infancy. God saved Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" from this trial.

Another proposal came from a friend of Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" father. He told his father that his daughter has matured and he wishes for her to marry him. Despite Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" father agreeing, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" started praying and a few days before the wedding, news came that the girl had died. Allah again saved Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" from a trial. Then a proposal with the granddaughter of his father’s paternal aunt was suggested. This was brought to an end when there was a death of a young boy in his family. When Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" mother went to offer her condolences, she was wearing her habitual gold jewellery. This family deemed it discourteous and started talking amongst themselves about Rajeki Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" mother. When his brother became aware of this, he ended the engagement due to the insult. The girl married someone else and within two and a half years, she also died and Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was again saved from a trial.

In the midst of all this, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw many dreams about his marriage taking place across the Chenab river with someone named Sahibzadi. He did not understand what this meant until one day, he went to Lyallpur where he was invited to a wedding by Maulvi Ghaus Muhammad Sahib. Hazrat Maulvi Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" eldest son Hakim Muhammad Hayat Sahib told Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" that his mother was suffering from sciatica pain and also requested him to pray for her and perform dum (supplication by blowing air) so Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" recited the following prayer.

ربّ کلّ شیْئِِ خادمك ربّ فاحْفظْني وانْصرْني وارْحمْني

‘My Lord! Everything is in thy service. My Lord: protect me, help me and have mercy on me.’

As a result, at that instance, his mother recuperated. At night, Hakim Sahib dreamt that a large lamp had been lit in his house and he was told, ‘This lamp is Maulana Ghulam Rasool who has come to your house.’ Upon this, he requested Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" to marry his younger sister. When Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" performed Istikhara, he knew this would be the correct decision, and thus accepted the proposal. He also understood the interpretation of his dream that a marriage took place across the river.

Manifestation of God

Maulana Rajeki Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" connection with God was so strong that God would often manifest Himself to Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" in the forms of visions and dreams. Some of those incidents will be mentioned here to provide a flavour of Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" spiritual rank. During the era of the first Khalifa raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", a debate took place in Lahore on the reality of intercession. Many speakers gave their false views on this matter. Eventually, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was asked to prepare a speech shining a light on this topic. After being told in a dream that his lecture would be ‘Mahmood’ and ‘Bashir’– meaning everyone will praise it, he was shown a scene which seemed to be the Day of Judgement. Allah the Exalted was seated on the throne of justice in the manifestation of a human.

The throne of Allah was placed towards the right. The countenance of Allah was facing southwards towards a very narrow passageway from which one person could pass at a time. Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw that he was standing on one side and Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih I raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was standing on the other side. Allah the exalted asked each person passing in a very gentle and merciful voice “Say, how can we atone you?” The person would respond in a very frightened and meek voice that without Huzoor’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" intercession, I have no means of salvation. Allah would then reply ‘Very well, we will atone to you through intercession.’ This was when God Himself taught Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" the reality of intercession.

In another incident, Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw the throne of God in a dream. He, along with a companion, saw that they were flying in the sky and saw a red throne with an afterglow from underneath. The glow manifested the stature and glory of Allah the Exalted. Following this, they desired to see the throne from above. They then saw a bright globe radiating lighter than the sun and the illuminating globe was Allah the Exalted who was manifesting Himself. Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" wished to walk closer however the companion stayed behind. Upon advancing forward, he saw the countenance of God in the form of Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih II raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". He understood that he is representative of the Heavenly Authority, the greatest man on Earth and the representative of Allah the Exalted.

Moreover, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" saw in a dream that he had entered a house where the porch was decorated very beautifully. He saw four personalities sitting on chairs. Maulana Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was told that one personality was Allah the Almighty, and the second was the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him". He himself recognised the remaining two people to be The Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and Hazrat Mian Chiragh Din Sahib of Lahore raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" respect for Chiragh Din Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" grew and he also interpreted that because “Chiragh Din” meant lamp of faith, the fourth personality could represent Hazrat Musleh Maud raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them".

Passion for Preaching

This is an incident from a journey that Maulana Ghulam Rasool Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" went on with Sheikh Mahmood Ahmad Sahib Irfani raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" on route to see an American doctor because of Maulana Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" illness. When they reached Gulbarga station, a huge man with a terrifying face entered their compartment on the train. Fear immediately made a home in their heart. Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" was lying down due to his illness when Irfani Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" approached him and whispered that despite his passion for preaching, he should avoid it in this instance for fear of this man trying to harm them, especially in the condition he was in. Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" responded with an answer which was full of trust in Allah. He said that if Irfani Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" hadn’t mentioned this then they could have stayed quiet and it would have been a different case but now their silence would’ve been due to fear of people which is shirk (associating partners with Allah). If they died in the state of preaching, then their end would be in a state of steadfastness and they would be martyrs.

With that, Maulana Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" started preaching by asking where the man was coming from and going. He told him about the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" who is Imam Mahdi asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and the deputy of the Holy Prophet saabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" in this age. After the conversation, the stranger was very intrigued and spent the remaining journey in remembrance of Allah. He offered his seat which was opposite me, to Irfani Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" so that I could be more comfortable and lie down. After a few hours, it was time for this man with a fearsome face to leave. At the same time, Irfani Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" came back after having gone to get some food and informed Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" that it had finished. This stranger who had only just met them gave them food and told them that he had packed enough for the next two days thus they can have all of it for the remainder of our journey. They both thanked Allah the Almighty and invoked blessings on the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" because he was the reason for all these blessings.

This was the life of a true saint of Ahmadiyyat. His spiritual rank continued to soar in his life and this only increased his humility. The higher he flew, the more he lowered his head in prostration. Once, the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" gifted him the books Muwahibur Rahman, Ijaz-e-Ahmadi and Nasime-Da’wat, and said, ‘I had bound these books for myself but I will give them to you.’ Maulana Sahib interpreted that he will gain three specialities based on these books – Firstly, the mercy of Allah the Exalted; Secondly, the miraculous blessings in the preaching of Ahmadiyyat and third, the sign of the acceptance of prayer. History can bear witness that he really was a true recipient of all these and many more qualities. (Hayat e Qudsi Part 2 page 81 compile version Urdu)

It is only fitting to end on the advice of the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" which Maulana Sahib informed the world about. Once, in a gathering with the first Khalifa raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them", he saw the notebook of the Promised Messiah asabbreviation for "Peace be upon him" and felt the urgency in his heart to see it. Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Masih I raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" graciously handed the book to Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" and upon opening the first page, he saw the following:

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ۔ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

“O My Allah! Be pleased with me and after being pleased with me never be angry with me”.

The Holy Quran (1:6-7)

Rajeki Sahib raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" always kept this point in mind when reciting Surah Fatiha. Hazrat Musleh Maud raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" states regarding Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Sahib Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them":

“I believe that the ocean that Allah the Exalted has opened for Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Sahib Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" is mostly related to this very age. Previously, his academic status was not the same but later on, suddenly it was as if someone had been elevated to a high place. Similarly, Allah has granted him acceptance and has enhanced his knowledge to such an extent that his speech has become very appealing, effective and goes straight to the hearts repelling all doubts and evil thoughts for people of Sufi inclination. A few days ago when I was in Shimla, a friend told me that Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Sahib Rajeki raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" came here and delivered a speech in a gathering which finished at eleven or half-eleven at night. After the speech, a Hindu took him to his house, beseeching him to go to his house because he considered that blessings may descend on their house because of Maulvi Sahib’s raabbreviation for "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them" presence.”
